Bible Bits
Support
Bible Bits is an iPhone app that uses Apple Screen Time APIs to let you set limits on selected apps and categories, then guide you into a short devotional flow when a configured limit is reached.
What the app requires
- iPhone running iOS 17.4 or later
- Screen Time authorization for
.individual - Notification permission is optional, but recommended for devotional reminders
- An active Apple subscription is required for Screen Time limits
- The devotional library remains available without a subscription
Troubleshooting
- If you can browse devotionals but can’t create limits, confirm that Screen Time access was granted in the app and is still enabled in iOS Settings.
- If the shield appears but Bible Bits doesn’t open right away, allow notifications or open Bible Bits manually from the Home Screen.
- If a purchase or restore action fails, try again while signed into the same Apple Account that owns the subscription.
- If devotional content doesn’t refresh, the bundled library should still load offline.
Billing and subscriptions
- Bible Bits Premium is billed through Apple In-App Purchase.
- The current binary is wired for a monthly auto-renewable subscription.
- Purchases can be restored from the in-app subscription surfaces.
- Subscription management and cancellation are handled by Apple.
